Very awesome bike.Got my delivery in december, and writing this review after a little over 2000kms. Style greatly designed by royal enfield for off road as well as on highways engine performance, fuel economy and gearbox very good engine performance, milage of 30 kmpl,gearbox could be much more better. I got mine in July 13 2016.Its almost one year of Himalayan for me.I was never an re fanboy.I was in search of a mile munched. Instead of just updating the motor to BS-IV norms, Royal Enfield decided to address the quality issues pertaining to the adventure motorcycle and launched an updated BS-IV version of the Himalayan in late 2017. I live less than an hour from Portsmouth and wanted to get to Brittany to visit family regularly, so no great distances but the odd hour or so at 70-80mph is required. Take the Himalayan on trails and the bike comes into its element. Travelling solo, with luggage is fine, but ground clearance becomes a major issue with pillion. Sadly for the Himalayan, it couldn’t maintain the positive sentiments for long as cases of reliability issues and parts failure started to emerge, denting its image.
